Happy World Breastfeeding Week!

Celebrated every August 1-7th, the World Alliance for Breastfeeding Action (WABA) uses this week to raise awareness and galvanize action on themes related to breastfeeding. Since 1992 WABA has been utilizing this week to generate support and awareness, and making sustainable impacts for women and children around the world. Further information on WABA and World Breastfeeding Week can be found at http://waba.org.my.

We’re excited to take the week to recognize and encourage our breastfeeding Promise Mamas! Breastfeeding may be as natural as it gets, but let’s be real: sometimes it just doesn’t come easily.

There are a myriad of challenges that can interfere with your breastfeeding goals and desires. You might experience low milk production, poor latching and sore nipples, mastitis, or thrush… take a deep breath mama, you’ve got this. Perhaps you’re experiencing the time suck (pun intended) of pumping, maybe you realized that breastfeeding is just not right for you, or you might be facing unwanted advice and judgment over your breastfeeding choices… take a deep breath mama, you’ve got this.

Whether you’re using formula or breastfeeding for two weeks, six months, a year, or beyond, please remember that YOU are the expert on your baby and your family. At the end of the day your baby is fed and your baby is loved, and that is what matters the most.

We are honored to be a source of support for you on your breast feeding journey, and our organic products are safe to use during breastfeeding. Promise Organic Milk Boost Tea promotes healthy lactation and replenishes vitamins and minerals. Mango Sucker Butter Nipple Cream offers lasting protection and rejuvenation for cracked and sore nipples. Postnatal + DHA Breastfeeding Vitamins provide all the nutrients needed to keep you and baby thriving. While we can’t take away all of the challenges you might face when it comes to feeding your little one, we hope to provide a little comfort along the way.
